Terrence E. “Terry” Rodgers

Terrence E. “Terry” Rodgers, 76, of Winamac, formerly of Homewood, Illinois, passed away on Friday, Nov. 9, at Pulaski Health Care Center in Winamac. 

Terry was born on May 15, 1942, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late John and Sadie Mae (Schuler) Rodgers. He graduated from Allegheny High School in Pennsylvania and received an associate degree from Thornton Community College in Illinois. On Dec. 12, 1964, Terry married Patricia R. “Pat” Martin in Belleville, Illinois. Terry and Pat enjoyed camping and canoeing at Tippecanoe River State Park in Winamac. 

Terry served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the American Legion. He was also a member of the Winamac Eagles #2580. Terry worked for Metro Electric in Chicago for 30 years. 

He is survived by his wife Patricia R. “Pat” Martin of Winamac; son Jim Rodgers of Winamac; and daughter Terri May [Dan] Marcinko of Park Forest, Illinois. 

H was preceded in death by his parents John and Sadie Mae (Schuler) Rodgers; and eight siblings. 

A private service will be held.
