They moved to Arizona in June of 1967 and Stan worked as business manager for a medical group for 23 years.

Stan, together with his wife, was a member of Bethany Bible Church for 35 years. Following their move to Sun City West, they became members of Trinity Bible Church of Sun City West.

He is survived by Jean, his loving wife of 59 years, and his children: Sharon [Stoney Burke], David, Robert [June] and Edward [Sheryl]; seven grandchildren: Brock, Brett, Mark, TJ, Angel, Travis and Nik; as well as his brother Dean and his sisters Judy and Kathleen and their families.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 22, at Trinity Bible Church, Sun City West, Arizona.
