Richard A. Kruger

Richard A. “Rick” Kruger, 64, of Winamac, died Thursday, Jan. 15, at his residence.

He was born on Dec. 3, 1950, to Devon and Louise (Shepherd) Kruger.

Rick married Paula Henderson on Nov. 15, 2002. She died June 9, 2013.

Rick graduated from Francesville High School in 1969. He worked as a mechanic alongside his father who owned Diamond Trucking.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching movies.

Survivors include his father Devon [Phyllis] Kruger of Francesville; daughter Christy Kruger of Crown Point; son Andy [Julie] Kruger of Westfield; grandsons: Jordan Kolish, Tanner Kruger and Clay Kruger; and granddaughters: Hadley Kruger and Mallory Kruger.

He was preceded in death by his mother Louise (Shepherd) Kruger; and wife Paula Maria (Pope) Kruger.

A private family memorial service will be held in the spring. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville.
