Paul Joseph Mulcare

Paul Joseph Mulcare, 49, of Winamac, passed away at 6:40 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born Aug. 3, 1965, in Chicago, to John and Arlene (Myers) Mulcare.

Paul married Cheryl Lynn Shidler on Jan. 8, 1993, in Winamac. Cheryl survives.

Paul was a retired fabricator and welder at Galbreath Inc. in Winamac.

Paul enjoyed fishing and small engine repair. He also enjoyed camping, drawing and any activity outdoors. Paul also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Cheryl Lynn Mulcare of Winamac; daughters: Carrie Lynn Shidler of Winamac, Sara Marie [Joey] Frinkel of Winamac, and Tabitha Jo [Zack] Mulcare of Winamac; eight grandchildren; mother Arlene Mulcare of Texas; sisters: Tammy Lee Myers of Plymouth, Maria Ruth Mulcare of Massena, New York, and Flora May Mulcare of Plymouth; and brother James Raymond Mulcare of Plymouth.

He was preceded in death by his father John Joseph Mulcare; and two grandchildren.

Visitation was 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, at Frain Mortuary. Pastor Doug Salyers officiated.

Memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
