Paul F. Vedope

Paul F. Vedope, 67, of Star City, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Aug. 8 at St. Franciscan Hospital in Lafayette.

Paul was born on Sept. 29, 1953, in Gary to Frank and Shirley King Vedope. He married Jo “Jody” Linda Miller on July 31, 1998, in the British Virgin Islands. Jody survives.   

Paul had worked as a tool and die maker. He enjoyed fishing and hunting arrowheads.

He is survived by his wife Jody Miller of Star City; sister Carol [Dale] Wheeler of Henderson, Arkansas; and brother Garry Vedope of Hobart. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Shirley King Vedope. 

A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac with Rev. Chris Kosary officiating.

Visitation was from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac.
