Paul D. Henriott

Paul Devon Henriott, CWO2 U.S. Army (Ret.), 90, of Rochester, passed away at 5:39 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 16, at his residence.

On Aug. 26, 1925, Paul was born in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a treasured son of John and Edna (Tabler) Henriott. 

In Frankfort, Germany, Paul married the love of his life, Gertrud Elsa (Seifert) Henriott, on May 6, 1955. 

Left to cherish Paul’s memory are his wife Gertrud; son Curt [March] Henriott of Rochester; daughters: Desiree [Morris Jr.] Small of Logansport, Romy Shortz [companion Paul Bikowski] of South Bend, and Bernadette [Edward Regnier] Henriott of Bourbonais, Illinois; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and brother James [Beatrice] Henriott of Knox. 

Preceding Paul in death are his parents; two grandsons; and his sister Catherine Horban. 

Friends visited with the family from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 19 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester, and one hour prior to the service in the church. A celebration of the life was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, at the St. John Lutheran Church, 404 Jefferson St., Rochester. Rev. Curtis May officiated. Military rites were conducted by the Fulton County Veteran’s Honor Guard and the U.S. Army Honor Guard. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
