Patricia “Patti” G. (Irven) Robinson

Patricia “Patti” G. (Irven) Robinson, 69, of Lafayette, passed away at 2:12 p.m. Friday, June 4 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. 

Patti was born on June 20, 1951, to the late Keith L. and Betty J. (Morgan) Irven. She graduated from Francesville High School. Patti worked her entire life as an optical assistant. On April 26, 2002, she married Eugene David “Dave” Robinson in Lafayette. He passed away on Sept. 21, 2012. 

Patti devoted a lot of her time to volunteering at local veterans organizations in Lafayette. She dedicated her life to raising and showing dogs, especially great danes, Irish wolf hounds and whippets.

Patti was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt and cousin. She will be dearly missed. 

She is survived by her son Keith Grove; grandson Matthew; nieces: Candy Irven and Kim [Brandon] DeLorenzo; great-nephew Kameron Miller; cousins: Cathy [Chuck] Nash, Tom [Crystal] Irven and Chris Vizza; second cousins: Troy, Robert and Jocelyn Nash; former husband Robert Grove; and companion Joey Suiter. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Keith L. and Betty J. (Morgan) Irven; husband Eugene David “Dave” Robinson; brother William G. “Bill” Irven; and cousin Bob Vizza. 

Private family graveside services will be held at Roseland Cemetery in Francesville. 

Burial will take place at Roseland Cemetery in Francesville.
