Michael David Cardwell

Michael David Cardwell, 59, of Winamac, passed away at 4:12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at his residence in Winamac.

He was born Sept. 13, 1956, in Merrillville, to Elmer and Patricia (Mayfield) Cardwell.

Michael was a welder, machinist and boilermaker. He also did private construction in Lake County. He also worked in computer graphics.

Michael was a member of the boilermakers union in Lake County.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed playing darts, pool and recreational shooting. Michael also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughter Megan Renee [Agim] Dupi of Indianapolis; son Nicholas Michael [Angela] Cardwell of Anderson; granddaughters: Lydia Marie Cardwell, Adelaine Drita Dupi and Anjeza Arlene Dupi; mother Patricia Sue (Mayfield) Cardwell of Winamac; brothers: Brian [Janet] Cardwell of Kouts, and Brett Cardwell of Winamac; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Elmer Clyde Cardwell.

Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
