Luella Ann Shideler

Nov. 10, 1938 — March 28, 2017

Luella Ann Shideler, of Winamac, passed away at 1:38 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, at her residence.  

She was born on Nov. 10, 1938, in Beardstown, to the late Ralph Bernard and Florence Viola (Mays) Heims. On March 30, 1968, she married Frank Kenneth Shideler. He preceded her in death on July 26, 1998. 

Ann was a member of the First Baptist Church Winamac. She was a Sunday school teacher and had served as a teacher at the Lighthouse Christian Academy in Knox. Ann was a member of the Logansport YMCA and was active in the senior water aerobics classes. 

Ann enjoyed reading, studying her Bible and praying. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her daughters: Faith M. [John] Jones and Deborah L. [Roger] Miller; son Stuart “JR” Siebenhaar Jr.; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. 

She was receded in death by her husband Frank Kenneth Shideler; parents Ralph Bernard and Florence Viola (Mays) Heims; daughter Marcia Louise Siebenhaar; grandsons: Johnathan S. Siebenhaar and Kenneth Ray Miller; sisters: Estella Barnett and Eva Jean Heims; and brothers: Ray Heims and Ralph Bernard Heims Jr.  

Visitation was 4-7 p.m. Friday, March 31, at Frain Mortuary Winamac. Funeral services followed at 7 p.m. at Frain Mortuary. Pastor Mark Pilger officiated. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Winamac.
