Linda L. Dilling

Oct. 10, 1944 — Feb. 28, 2018

Linda L. Dilling, 73, of Rochester, formerly of Lake Bruce, passed away at 1:13 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 28, at Life Care Center in Rochester.

Born Oct. 10, 1944, in Rensselaer, she was the daughter of the late George Raymond and Edith Fern (Toumine) Dilling.

She was a 1962 Monticello High School graduate. She was a former member of United Brethren Church in Monticello and a former member of the Bruce Lake-Kewanna Lions Club.

Linda formerly worked at the Logansport State Hospital and she later opened and operated a cleaning service for businesses and individuals with her best friend and companion of 54 years, Frieda Crull. Sadly, Frieda passed away Oct. 25, 2015.

Linda was an animal lover and especially enjoyed caring for cats and kittens. She also enjoyed playing computer games and traveling. 

Surviving are her friends: Sharon and Dan Winters of Kewanna, and Dan and Melody Pine of Lake Bruce, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers.

Visitation was at 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday, March 3, at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel. Services followed at 3 p.m. Burial took place at Bruce Lake Cemetery.
