Letitia A. “Tish” Lucas

Letitia A. “Tish” Lucas, 69, of Winamac, passed away at 5:35 a.m. Monday, June 17, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac. 

Tish was born on Oct. 11, 1949, in Winamac, to the late Robert and Fern E. (Smith) Krieg. Letitia married David G. Galbreath on Sept. 21, 1986. David died on April 18, 2000. She married James E. Lucas on Oct. 11, 2008, in Winamac. Jim survives.

Tish had worked at the Winamac Bowling Alley, South Forty, Eagles Lodge, Rich’s Cafe and Colonial Inn. She had also worked at Kewanna Metal Specialties and the Pulaski Health Care Center.

Tish enjoyed bowling, baking, crocheting and going to the casino. She also enjoyed karaoke. Tish liked to travel and spend time with her family. No one ever left her house with an empty stomach.

Surviving Tish are her husband James E. “Jim” Lucas of Winamac; daughter LeAnn [Don] Tunis of Winamac; son Robert Lewis [Karen] Hartwell of Greensboro, North Carolina; stepsons: David Lucas of Flora, and Robert Lucas of Bristol, Tennessee; stepdaughters: Cindy Lucas of Flora, Amber Lucas of Yeoman, Chastity [Shaun] Fox of Flora, Crystal Lucas of Flora, and Judy Lucas of Peru; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; brothers: Robert Krieg of Marion, and Daniel [Lisa] Chamberlain of Indianapolis; sister Nancy [Greg] Teagle of Florida; stepsister Sheila Wilson; and stepbrothers: Russell Antrim, Jeff Antrim and Kevin Antrim.

She was preceded in death by her father Robert Krieg; mother Fern E. (Smith) Krieg Antrim; great-grandson Alex Taylor; former husband David Galbreath; and stepbrother John Antrim.

Visitation was from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 19 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. Funeral services followed at 7 p.m. at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. Gary Ashbrook officiated. Burial took place at Winamac Cemetery in Winamac.
