Kenneth E. “Kenny” Fisher

April 13, 1962 — Nov. 11, 2018

Kenneth E. “Kenny” Fisher, 56, of Winamac, passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, at his home. 

He was born on April 13, 1962, in Logansport, to the late Robert and Dora (Meyer) Fisher. Kenny was a 1981 graduate of Winamac High School and attended Ivy Tech in Logansport. On Jan. 16, 1987, he married Debra Sue “Debbie” Henry in Winamac. In 1996, the couple welcomed their daughter, Kenzie Sue Fisher, into their lives. Kenny was a service technician/trainer at BraunAbility (Braun Corporation) where he had worked since 1987. 

Kenny was a former member of the Moose Lodge, Knights of Columbus and St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Winamac. He was a former member of the Indian Motorcycle Club and was a motorcycle enthusiast. Kenny and his brother, Ed, enjoyed motorcycle trips together.

Kenny enjoyed the outdoors, especially spending time in the family woods, hunting, doing lawn work and camping. He was a talented woodworker and had his own home brewing company, Fishwood. He enjoyed music, especially listening to Pink Floyd and attending rock concerts. 

Kenny loved spending time with his friends and family. He was a good and loyal friend to so many. Kenny will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife Debra Sue Fisher of Winamac; daughter Kenzie Sue Fisher of Winamac; brother Edward Lee [Reine] Fisher of Elkhart; and nieces Tara [Todd] Anglemeyer of Castle Rock, Colorado, and Megan Fisher of Denver, Colorado. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Sylvester and Ilene (Kline) Meyer, and Donald and Harvene (Boos) Fisher; parents Robert and Dora (Meyer) Fisher; and one infant child. 

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, with Pastor Jeff Seger officiating. Final disposition will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
