Katherine A. DuBois
Katherine A. DuBois, 68, Winamac, passed away at 6:40 a.m., Monday, May 28, at her residence in Winamac.
She was born Feb. 3, 1950, in Gary, to Raymond and Leanne (Horwath) Zickmund. Katherine married Zale Devon DuBois Jr. on July 29, 1972, in Rensselaer.
Katherine was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Winamac. She was the administrative supervisor of registration and admissions at the Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac. Katherine was employed there for 25 years.
She enjoyed going on vacations, camping, gardening, raising flowers and spending time with her family. Katherine enjoyed going to races and car shows. She also enjoyed shopping with her sister, shopping for antiques and going out to eat.
Survivors include her sons: Jim D. [Daphne] Sutton of Billings, Montana, and Cale D. [Christina] DuBois of Crown Point; grandsons: Caden DuBois, Jonathon Sutton, Blake Sutton and Devon Sutton; and granddaughters: Isabella Sutton and Kyra DuBois; great-granddaughters: Madeleine Sutton, Aurora Drake and Miriam Sutton; great-grandson Nathaniel Sutton; father Raymond Zickmund of Rensselaer; sister Cindy [Randy] Cook of Rensselaer; and brother Raymond [Linda] Zickmund of Rensselaer.
She was preceded in death by her husband Zale Devon DuBois Jr. and mother Leanne (Horwath) Zickmund.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Thursday, May 31, at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Winamac, and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 1, at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Winamac, with Pastor Ryan Eaton officiating. Final disposition will take place at a later time.
Memorials may be given to the Pulaski Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
