Judith Ann “Judy” Stigall

April 20, 1945 — May 27, 2019

Judith Ann “Judy” Stigall, 74, of Winamac, was called home at 4:48 p.m. Monday, May 27. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side. 

Judy was born on April 20, 1945, in Winamac, to the late John Martin and Dorothy Jane (Chamness) Tuley. Judy had formerly worked as a supervisor at Modern Materials in Rochester. She also had worked as a CNA at Little Company of Mary in San Pierre, Hickory Creek in Winamac, and at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac. 

Judy enjoyed the outdoors, especially flower gardening, boating and fishing. She also enjoyed listening to country music, dancing and collecting wind chimes. She was a loving mom, grandma and great-grandma who loved spending time with her family. Judy will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. 

Survivors include her sons: Jerry [Kathy] Tuley of Winamac, and William [Julie] Stigall Jr. of Indianapolis; daughters: Brenda [Rex] Becker of Winamac, and Lisa Griffo of Winamac; granddaughters: Cassie [Brian] Ginter, Amber [Ben] Carroll, Samantha [Josh] Whitaker and Kimberly [Jeff Saltsman] Garling; grandsons: Bryan [Ali] Myers and Michael [Danielle Sowell] Stigall; 10 great-grandchildren; brother John [Nancy] Tuley; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents John Martin and Dorothy Jane (Chamness) Tuley; and infant son Tracy Allen Stigall. 

Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. Friday, May 31, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, and one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 1, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. Bishop Rick Helton officiated. Burial took place at Winamac Cemetery in Winamac.
