Johnny L. Bradshaw

April 6, 1942 — Jan. 13, 2021

Johnny L. Bradshaw, 78, of Winamac, formerly of Knox, passed away unexpectedly at 1:03 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Northwest Health Starke Hospital in Knox. 

He was born on April 6, 1942, in High Point, North Carolina, to the late Paul and Iva Lee (Mills) Bradshaw. Johnny served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He retired from Polygon Manufacturing in Walkerton, in 2006.

Johnny enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, playing solitaire and going back to the pond to fish. He also enjoyed playing the lottery. Johnny loved his family very much, especially his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his son Jeffrey John Bradshaw of Bruce Lake; daughter Lynn [Wes] Terry of Winamac; granddaughters: Joaunpaey Davis of Logansport, and McKenzie Terry of Winamac; grandson John Terry of Winamac; great-granddaughter Cora Linback of Logansport; sister Patricia Proctor of Thomasville, North Carolina; brother Paul Richard Bradshaw of Thomasville, North Carolina; many nieces and nephews; and former spouse Dianna (Swayze) Wilder of Winamac.

He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Iva Lee (Mills) Bradshaw; and brother Darrell Bradshaw. 

Visitation will be from noon–2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, with Rev. Edward Clark officiating. Burial will take place at Pro Cemetery in Winamac. The American Legion and VFW will conduct military graveside services.
