Jeremy David Day

Jeremy David Day, 39, of Star City, passed away at 3:37 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, as a result of an auto accident. 

Jeremy was born on March 24, 1980, in Winamac, to Dennis D. and Lisa M. (Pratt) Day. Jeremy was a heavy equipment operator. He resided in North Carolina for about 20 years. Jeremy recently returned to Pulaski County. 

Jeremy enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on motor vehicles. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children and family. 

He is survived by his daughters: Kali Day of Star City, and Chloe Day of Vestal, New York; son Gage Day of Vestal, New York; parents Dennis and Lisa Day of Star City; sisters: Jessica Day of Winamac, and Jill Day of Logansport; companion Krystal Ormsby of Star City; maternal grandfather Melvin Pratt of Winamac; nieces: Cassady Sobczak of Winamac, Brooke Veasey of Logansport, and Daisy Jones of Logansport; and nephew Caleb Veasey of Chiloquin, Oregon. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Iva Leland Pratt; and paternal grandparents Victor and Carol (Brust) Day. 

Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
