Jeffrey W. Green

Jeffrey William Green, 42, of Star City passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 13, at home.

Born on Oct. 16, 1982 in Logansport, he was the son of Jeffrey Lin Green and the late Judy Magers Gudas.

He was a 2002 Winamac High School graduate.

Jeff was formerly employed as a welder at the Braun Corporation. He loved to hunt, fish, watch TV and spend time with family and friends. Jeff had a good heart and would help anybody in need.  

Survivors include his father, Jeffrey L. Green [Molly Eisele] of Star City; sister Heather Wallace of Huntington; half-sister Patricia Green of Logansport; half-brother Jacob Green of Kewanna; grandmothers: Shirley Koon of Peru and Sandra Green of Lafayette; step-father Eric Gudas of Kewanna; and step-father and step-mother: Ron and Carol Gady of Star City. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother Judy Gudas;  and grandfathers: Bill Magers and Harold Green.

A gathering of family and friends was from 3-6 p.m., Thursday, April 18, at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Harrison Chapel, 304 S. Chicago St., Royal Center.
