James Lee “Jimmy” Rowe

James Lee “Jimmy” Rowe, 61, of Medaryville, passed away at his home on Sunday, Nov. 18, surrounded by his family. 

He was born in Lima, Ohio, on Nov. 5, 1957, the son of Clyde Rowe and Lidia (Edens) Martin. 

Jimmy enjoyed singing, playing guitar, hunting, fishing, playing pool and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Robin Rowe; children: Melinda Rowe [Darrell Holbrook], Bonnie [Ben] Fitch, Danny Robinson [Krystale Harvey], Derrick Williams [April Tuttle] and Dallas [Cindy] Williams; sisters: Nada [Stanley] Wireman and Linda [Rich] Nees; brothers: Robert Rowe and Kenneth Rowe [Robin Lang]; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde Rowe and Lidia Martin; sister DeeDee Wireman; grandsons Justin “Boomer” West and Devin Holbrook; great-grandson Bryson Hughes; and one nephew Dennis Murphy Jr.

Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 23, from 2 p.m. until time of funeral at 6 p.m. (EST) at Goodway Baptist Church with Pastor James Rowe and Pastor Dean Rowe officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lima, Ohio, on Monday, Nov. 26, with a committal service beginning at 1 p.m. (EST).
