Harold David Walters

June 21, 1974 — Aug. 6, 2018

Harold David Walters, 44, of Winamac, passed away at 1:16 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac. 

Harold was born on June 21, 1974, in Winamac, to Jerry Lee Walters Sr. and Patricia Helvie Walters. He graduated from Winamac High School in 1993. He had worked as a farm hand for his great-aunt Dorothy Gilsinger. Harold had attended St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Winamac.

Harold enjoyed watching movies, reading and playing chess. 

Survivors include his mother Patricia Jones of South Bend; brother Jerry Lee [Annetta] Walters Jr. of Winamac; twin brother William S. Walters of Winamac; sister Traci Jo Walters of Alabama; and half sister Tia Helvie of South Bend. 

He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Lee Walters Sr.; and great-aunt Dorothy Gilsinger. 

Visitation was Thursday, Aug. 9, from 4-7 p.m. at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. Funeral services were Friday, Aug. 10, at 10 a.m. at Frain Mortuary, Winamac. Rev. Leroy Kinnaman officiated. Burial followed the service in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Winamac.
