Glenn Cole

Glenn Cole, 51, of Winamac, passed away at 4:03 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac.

He was born March 25, 1964, in Salyersville, Kentucky, to Henry and Shirley (Barnett) Cole.

Glenn married Cindy L. Hines on June 30, 1985, in Ripley. Cindy survives.

Glenn was employed as an inspector at the Braun Corporation in Winamac for 17 years.

He was a member of the NRA and the National Association for Gun Rights.

Glenn enjoyed eagle collectibles and working in the garden. He grew beautiful roses. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and cutting wood. He also raised animals.

Glenn enjoyed reading westerns by Zane Gray and Louis L'Amour. Glenn liked “old time” country and bluegrass music.

Glenn enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Cindy L. (Hines) Cole of Winamac; sons: Dustin M. [Deanna Brummitt] Cole of Winamac, and Jeremy A. [Michelle Kmetz] Cole of Winamac; daughter Amanda F. Cole of Winamac; granddaughter Serenity Marshall; grandson Arik Cole; sisters: Hazel E. [Steven] White of North Judson, and Linda S. Collins of Kokomo; brothers: Adam [Jackie] Cole of North Judson, Charles [Suzzie] Cole of Portage, Barry E. Hartung of Peru, and Dennis R. Hartung of Indianapolis.

He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Shirley Faye (Barnett) Cole.

Visitation was from 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at Frain Mortuary, with Pastor Tod Masters officiating. Burial took place in Mt. Zion-Franklin Township Cemetery, Winamac.
