Gerald Allan Lange

Aug. 16, 1940 — June 11, 2017

Gerald Allan Lange, 76, of Isle of Palms, South Carolina, husband of the late Carol Jean Zent Lange, died Sunday, June 11. 

Gerald was born Aug. 16, 1940, in Winamac, the only son of the late Harold A. Lange and the late Annamae (Paulsen) Lange. He was a graduate of Purdue University and served in the Indiana Army National Guard. Gerald was a retired pharmacist and a member of the Indiana Pharmacy Association and the South Carolina Pharmacy Association and also Purdue University Alumni Association. Gerald was an avid sports fan, especially the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. He was a member of the Isle of Palms Baptist Church.

He is survived by four sons: Andy [Melissa] Lange of Charleston, South Carolina, Brian [Jamie] Lange of Buchanan, Michigan, Todd [Dee Dee] Walters of Westfield, and Tim [Julie] Walters of Brownsburg; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family visited with friends on Friday, June 16, 4-7 p.m., at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Rd., Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
