Donna Sue (Ingram) Dillard
Donna Sue (Ingram) Dillard, 79, Winamac, passed away on Feb. 17, at White Oaks Nursing Home.
Donna was born on Jan. 15, 1940, in Orange County, to the late Lloyd and Minnie (Johnson) Ingram. She loved going to her class reunions at the Orleans High School.
She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 131 Ladies Auxiliary, Gingham Pals Homemakers Extension, she was an educator with FNP of Starke County.
Donna started at an early age in the restaurant industry helping her Aunt Mable. She also worked for Ernie’s Fireside in Knox, Bass Lake Golf Course, and the Hamlet Truck Stop.
Donna loved her family and showed her love through cooking. Donna also enjoyed reading, watching birds, watching cooking shows and NCIS.
Donna is survived by loving children: Lee [Amber] Worrell, Julie [Doug] Kasten and Sue Ebeltoft; grandchildren: Robert [Katie] Kasten, Daniel Kasten, Elizabeth Ebeltoft and Ethan Worrell; and great-grandson Tobias Kasten.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Dale Ingram, Ellen Masters, Evelyn Tow and Bell Russell.
As per family wishes cremation rites have been chosen. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
Donna will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
