D. Bruce Fry

Oct. 20, 1927 — May 14, 2019

D. Bruce Fry, 91, of Winamac, passed away peacefully at 10:55 p.m., Tuesday, May 14, at I.U. Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.

Born on Oct. 20, 1927, in Cass County, he was the son of the late Vern Keith and Rosetta Mae (DeWitt) Fry.

He was a Royal Center High School graduate and a Hanover University graduate.

Bruce was U.S. Army veteran. He recently was honored to participate in the 2018 Dream Flight Tour.

He was a retired farmer and pastor. Bruce enjoyed square dancing and gardening.

Survivors include his son Kevin B. [Kathy] Fry of Linden; and sister Doris Spencer of Lafayette,

He was also preceded in death by his wife Mary Arlene (Kistler) Fry; and brothers: Loren Fry and Burl “Spud” Fry.

Visitation was one hour prior to the service at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home & Crematory. A celebration of Bruce’s life was at 1 a.m., Tuesday, May 21. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana Veterans’ Home, 3851 N. River Road, West Lafayette, IN 47906.
