Clarence (Rusty) Ezra

Oct. 13, 1934 — March 21, 2015

Clarence (Rusty) Ezra, 80, of Granger, passed on to eternal life on March 21, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka.

Rusty was born in Mishawaka, on Oct. 13, 1934, to Clarence and Jessie (Correlle) Ezra.

He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

Music was Rusty’s passion and he played the drums for years.

On Aug. 30, 1980, Rusty and Judith Harrier were united in holy matrimony.

He is survived by his loving wife Judy, of 34 years; children: Vickie [Joe] Caleagno, James [Jerri] Ezra, Kathy [Tom] Branstetter and Felecia Hoyt, Robert [Sue] Harrier Jr., Rodney [Lori] Harrier, Trudie [Kevin] Mullins and Julie [Mike] Keb; and 21 grandchildren.

Rusty was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Jessie (Correlle) Ezra; sister Marilyn Conrad; and granddaughter Amanda Ezra.

Visitation for Rusty was on Wednesday, March 25, 4-8 p.m., at the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 26, with an hour of visitation prior to the funeral services at the First Christian Church of Mishawaka, 2511 East Third Street, Mishawaka, Indiana, 46544. Dr. Greg Timmons officiated the service. Cremation followed with burial in Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can made to the American Diabetes Association.
