Carol Jean Lange

Carol Jean Lange,79, of Isle of Palms, South Carolina, wife of Gerald A. “Gerry” Lange, died Saturday, Jan. 23. 

Carol was born July 18, 1936, in Talma, daughter of the late Orton Paul Zent and Clarabelle (Hunter) Zent. 

She worked in retail sales and was a member of ESA sorority. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed ceramics.

She is survived by her sons: Todd [Dee Dee] Walters of Westfield, and Tim [Julie] Walters of Brownsburg, Andy [Melissa] Lange of Charleston, South Carolina, and Brian [Jamie] Lange of Buchanan, Michigan; brother Michael [Rheta] Zent of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her brother Ronnie Zent.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
