Bobby Joe Bailey

Sept. 18, 1956 — April 7, 2016

Bobby Joe Bailey, 59, of Hudson, passed away Thursday, April 7, in Branch County, Michigan, as the result of an automobile accident.  

Bobby was born on Sept. 18, 1956, in Salyersville, Kentucky.  

On June 26, 1982, he married Brenda Wireman in Medaryville. She survives.

Bobby enjoyed sharing the Word of God with others.  

Bobby was a collector of many things, including knives, cars and clocks. He enjoyed being a part of flea markets over the years and was always on the go. He also enjoyed music, especially the Backstreet Boys. Bobby had a way of making people laugh.  He loved his dog, Lexus.

Bobby was a loving husband, dad, and grandpa. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten.

Survivors include his wife Brenda Wireman Bailey of Hudson; daughters: Monica Jean [Lenny] Louis of Sarasota, Florida, Michelle Lee Rector of Hudson, Shelly Jo Bailey of Rensselaer, Tonya Lynn Bailey of Montgomery, and Nancy Nicole Bailey of Hudson; son Brian [Laura] Warran of Owensboro, Kentucky; grandchildren: Tiara, Ryan, Evian, Christopher, Mark, Kaylee, Chloey, Marley, Marisa, Micah, Bailey, Dylan, Kailey, Jaylan and Haven; and brothers: Nelson J. [Arlene] Bailey of Angola, and Hank M. [Connie] Bailey, of Hamlet. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Frank Sr. and Nancy (Allen) Bailey; sister Ruby Jean Gilbert; brothers: James Bailey and Frank Bailey Jr.; and niece Monica (Bailey) Gilbert.  

Visitation was at Goodway Baptist Church, 14065 W. 400 N., Medaryville, from 4-6 p.m. Monday, April 11. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, at Goodway Baptist Church. Pastor James Rowe officiated. Burial took place at Goodway Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.
