Beverly J. “Bev” Krasner Albright

Jan. 26, 1934 — Jan. 19, 2018

Beverly J. “Bev” Krasner Albright, 83, of Lafayette (formerly of Winamac), went home to be with the Lord at 8:05 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19, at St. Mary’s Healthcare in Lafayette. 

Bev was born on Jan. 26, 1934, in Omaha, Nebraska. On June 30, 1958, she married Albert Crissinger in Omaha. He passed away Dec. 20, 1979. 

Bev worked many years as a teacher’s aide at Eastern Pulaski Elementary School and retired in 1996. After retirement, she worked for and participated in Weight Watchers.

She was a member of the Winamac First United Methodist Church where she had been active in the bell choir. 

Bev enjoyed quilting, crocheting and sewing. She was an avid genealogist and enjoyed traveling, especially visiting family.

Bev was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed. 

She is survived by her daughters: Linda [Chris] Schiuszi of Lafayette, and Connie [Dave] Scott of Winamac; son Alan [Deb] Crissinger of Lafayette; stepsons: Grant Krasner and Clay [RyLee] Krasner; stepdaughter Jackie Clark; 11 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; sister Georgia Darlene Bockmann; brothers: James L. [Pam] Bockmann, Robert R. Bockmann and John C. [Modra] Bockmann II; half brother Blaine [LaVonne] Brown; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather Lucille E. and George Bockmann; father and stepmother Gordon E. and Anna Brown; husband Albert L. Crissinger; stepgrandson Stephen Krasner; half sister Karen Brown; and sisters-in-law JoKay Bockmann and Lucille Bockmann. 

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac. Burial will take place at McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Winamac. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Winamac First United Methodist Church or St. Mary’s Healthcare.
