Barbara Diana (Kopka) Davis Hardy

Barbara Diana (Kopka) Davis Hardy, 75, of Winamac, formerly of Royal Center, passed away on Friday, Aug. 27 at Hickory Creek Healthcare in Winamac. 

She was born on Nov. 25, 1945, in Valparaiso to the late Fred John and Cora Ellen (Hall) Kopka.  

Barbara enjoyed karaoke and bingo. She loved her dog, Peewee. More than anything, Barbara loved her family.  She will be sadly missed.

She is survived by her sons: Frank [Kim] Widner of Winamac and Fred [Jeanette] Widner of Monticello; granddaughters: Starlett Widner, Chrystle Olson, Karli Widner and Hailey Widner; grandson Ian Widner; sisters: Connie Brownfield and Mary Ellen “Sis” [Ravi] Pawar; brother Rick [Deb] Kopka; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Fred John and Cora Ellen (Hall) Kopka; daughter Debra Walter; grandson Daniel Widner; brother Dennis Kopka; and former spouse Richard A. Davis. 

Private services will be held at Frain Mortuary in Winamac.  

Burial will take place at Winamac Cemetery (McKinley Addition) in Winamac.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
