Bailee Jean Smith

Bailee Jean Smith, born 3 months premature, passed away at 5:54 a.m., Thursday, March 12, at the King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison.

Bailee was born to Scotti Smith and Jeri Lynn Hudson, of VeVay.

She is survived by her loving parents Scotti Smith and Jeri Lynn Hudson; big brother Hayden Hudson-Smith of Vevay; grandparents: Roger and Tonya Smith of Bennington, and David Holmes and Stephanie Hudson of Bennington; great-grandmothers: Geneva Scotti of Vevay, Lucille Smith of East Enterprise, and Debbie Stewart of Vevay; aunts: Hailee [Michael] Otter of Vevay, Ashley Goins of Dillsboro, Kristi Smith of Mason, Ohio, Whitney [Erik] Budka of Winamac, and Grace Holmes of Patriot; and uncles: Trevor Smith [Bre Hinman] of Vevay, Brent Hudson of East Enterprise, and William Hudson of Bennington.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Jerry Hudson; great-grandfathers: Boyd Smith and Toni Scotti; and great-grandmother Josephine “Jo” Scotti.

Visitation was on Monday, March 16, 10-11 a.m., at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, Vevay. Funeral services followed at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor KC Banta officiated.
