Audrey Louise Clark

June 5, 1926 — Sept. 3, 2020

Audrey Louise Clark, 94, of Carmel, formerly of rural Jasper County, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Sept. 3. 

She was born on June 5, 1926, in Rensselaer, to the late Raymond Howard and Pansy Mae (Hagle) Smith Sr. Audrey graduated from Wolcott High School. On Nov. 16, 1946, she married Daniel Clyde Clark Jr. He passed away on Feb. 21, 2008. 

Audrey accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior as a teenager at Milroy Church. Her loving and Godly life was exemplary to all who knew her. Her focus was her family and touching the lives of others. Audrey will be dearly missed until we are reunited in Heaven. 

She is survived by her daughters: Janet L. [Dennis] Olson of Winamac, Danna L. [Ron] Hall of Akron, Marsha M. [Ron] Bullard of Monticello, and Carol J. [Joe] Obergfell of Westfield; son Dale D. [Maria Teresa] Clark of New Caney, Texas; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister Mary [James] Boles; brother James [Gen] Smith; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond Howard and Pansy Mae (Hagle) Smith Sr.; first husband Daniel Clyde Clark Jr.; second husband Howard Cook; brothers: Raymond Howard Smith Jr., Alvin Smith and Robert Smith; and infant sister Dorothy Smith. 

Visitation was from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville. Funeral services followed at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville. Pastor Chad Pentecost officiated. Burial took place at Osborne Cemetery in Rensselaer.
