Anthony F. “Tony” Viktora

Anthony F. Viktora, 81, of Winamac, passed away at 12:47 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac.

He was born Oct. 3, 1933, in Denham, to Oldrich and Mary (Rose) Viktora.

Tony was married to Clara Ellen Garling on April 11, 1953, in Francesville. Clara survives.

Tony was employed as an engineer at Eaton Controls for more than 30 years.

He enjoyed restoring Ford tractors and antiques. Tony was always looking for a good bargain. Tony loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife Clara Ellen (Garling) Viktora of Winamac; daughter Pam Viktora of Francesville; son Kevin Viktora of Francesville; and granddaughters: Sarah Viktora of Chicago, and Zoe Viktora of Francesville.

He was preceded in death by his parents Oldrich and Mary (Rose) Viktora; sisters: Violet Lemon and Mary Runyan; and brother Oldrich Viktora Jr.

Visitation was 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac, and one hour before services at St. James-Salem United Church of Christ, Francesville, on Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, at the church, with Rev. Judy Doll officiating. Burial will take place in St. James-Salem Cemetery, Francesville.
