Pulaski Memorial Hospital asks community about their needs

As Pulaski Memorial Hospital continues to find ways to improve quality of care, residents are asked to give their feedback.
Pulaski Memorial Hospital is offering the community a chance to express what they believe is missing from the community or what they would like to see more of in the community in regards to health care.
According to Carol Sparks, Pulaski Memorial Hospital Program Director, Service Excellence Initiative, each hospital with a 501(c)(3) status will conduct a community health needs assessment and publicly report the results as part of the Patient Protection and Accountable Care Act. Every three years the assessment must be completed.
The results of the surveys are used as a tool to increase medical services and identify priority health issues.
Surveys will be distributed to community members through the use of the Pulaski Memorial Hospital website, church groups, the health department and the medical clinic.
Sparks said the surveys will be completed by Feb. 1, so the results can be published by March 1.
