PMH welcomes first baby of new year

The first baby to be born in Pulaski County has arrived right on time.
Sophia Michelle Stankus was born on Jan. 12 at 7:28 a.m. to Abigail Stankus and Todd Nicholas.
Sophia was 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 21.25 inches long. She was welcomed into the world by her big sister, Sarah, who is 4.
Sophia is the granddaughter of Shannon and Melissa Calvert, of Winamac, and Robert and Jill Nicholas, of Burnettsville. She is the great-granddaughter of Judy Stankus, of Winamac.
