The spill was discovered at a farm on CR 550 N., northeast of the Tippecanoe River State Park, coming from a 10,000-gallon diesel tank around 9 a.m. on Friday.

The  iridescent shine of fuel could be seen floating on the river south of the spill at the Haschel Bridge Public Access Site.

As of Friday, July 15, it was unknown how much fuel had been spilled into the drainage tile.
