Commissioners’ race contested

As the deadline for candidate filing winds down at noon on Friday, Feb. 5, only one county office is contested at this time. 
Several town and county seats are up for election including county auditor, county recorder, county treasurer, county commissioner district 1, county commissioner district 2, state convention delegates, Republican Precinct Committemen, and county council at-large (three seats). 
At the state level, the seat for U.S. Representative District 2 and State Representative District 16 are up for election. 
Voter registration for the primary ends on April 4. The primary election will be May 3.
